There are two ways to say “you” in French: “tu” which is informal and “vous” which is formal
Use “tu” when talking to friends or family, use “vous” when talking to everybody else

EXEMPLES
Informal: Tu veux combien de macarons? (How many macaroons do you want?)
Formal: Vous voulez combien de macarons? (How many macaroons do you want?)

Informal: Ça fait combien de temps que tu habites à Paris? (How long have you been living in Paris?)
Formal: Ça fait combien de temps que vous habitez à Paris? (How long have you been living in Paris?)

Informal: Tu cours tous les combien? (How often do you run?)
Formal: Vous courez tous les combien? (How often do you run?)
