Tu habites à Paris depuis combien de temps?
How long have you been living in Paris?

J’habite à Paris depuis deux ans.
I’ve been living in Paris for 2 years

Il habite à Paris depuis 2020.
He has lived in Paris since 2020

Elle a changé depuis son retour.
She has changed since her come back.

Elle a changé depuis son retour.
She has changed since she has come back

J’attends le bus depuis une heure.
I’ve been waiting for the bus for one hour

Depuis quand tu fumes?
Since when do you smoke?

ALTERNATIVE

“Ça fait+duration” is the equivalent of “depuis” but it’s always put at the beginning of the phrase:

Ça fait une heure que j’attends le bus.
I’ve been waiting for the bus for one hour.

Ça fait combien de temps que tu fumes?
How long have you been smoking?

GRAMMAIRE

Depuis is a preposition.
