Bienvenue! I’m glad you’re here to join us on this French reading journey. Through these videos, we’ll work together to boost your comprehension skills and make you more comfortable reading out loud. I will read a French text out loud twice – once at a natural pace, and again slowly and clearly. Through these readings, we’ll work on pronunciation, intonation, rhythm and more. My goal is to make you feel comfortable reading French out loud and boost your confidence.

Tim and Lisa's Trip

Tim and Lisa are brother and sister. They love traveling with their family. Today, they are going to the beach with their parents. The beach is very beautiful. The sand is soft under their feet. The sky is blue, the sun is shining. Tim and Lisa run towards the sea. They love swimming and playing in the waves.

After swimming, they build a sandcastle. The castle has towers and a drawbridge. It’s a magical castle, they think. Tim and Lisa decorate their castle with colorful seashells.

While they play, their parents prepare a delicious picnic. They eat sandwiches, fresh fruits and cookies. Tim and Lisa are very hungry after playing.

The afternoon passes quickly. Tim and Lisa collect treasures on the beach: seashells, smooth stones and pretty pieces of sea glass polished by the ocean.

When the sun starts going down in the sky, Tim and Lisa know it’s almost time to leave. They say goodbye to the beach, the sandcastle and the waves.

On the way home, Tim and Lisa are tired but happy. They love family beach days. It was a perfect day.
